Locate the Closed Captioning heading →Turn on the
|
|
|
blue toggle switch to the right→Check the box for Enable live
|
|
|
transcription service to show transcript on the side panel in-meeting
|
|

Step 2: Turn on Live Transcription during your meeting
|
|
|
|
|
|
At the bottom of the screen, select Live Transcript.
|
|
|
|
|
|
If you don’t see it, you might need to resize your window to be wider → Click Enable Auto-Transcription.
|
|
|
This button will turn blue, indicating that live transcription has begun → You will now see live transcription appear along the bottom
|
|
|
of the screen
|

## Audio
|

Step 1
|
|
|
While scheduling a Zoom Meeting
|
|
|
|
|
|
Check Mute participants on entry (under Advanced Options) to mute all meeting attendees as they join your meeting.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Step 2
|
|
|
During a Zoom Meeting, the host or co-host(s) can mute or unmute all
|
|
|
participants through the Manage Participants feature.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Select Manage Participants → At the bottom of the Participants
|
|
|
panel, you select either Mute All or Unmute All → If you want to
|
|
|
keep your participants muted, select More and then uncheck Allow
|
|
|
Participants to Unmute Themselves from the drop-down →To mute or
|
|
|
unmute specific participants during your meeting, select the Mute or
|
|
|
Unmute button next to their name in the list.
|
|
|
|
|
|
## Video
|
|
|
|
|
|
Step 1
|
|
|
While scheduling a Zoom Meeting
|
|
|
|
|
|
Select Off for participants (in the Video
|
|
|
section) to ensure that their video will be disable when joining your
|
|
|
meeting.
|
|
|
|
|
|
## Share music
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Go to share your screen, as normal, then click the Advanced tab at
|
|
|
the top of the window.
|
|
|
|
|
|
You'll now see the Music or Computer Sound Only button.

|
Everyone on the call will hear your music without seeing your
|
|
|
screen.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Check volume levels.
|
|
|
|
|
|
You can stop sharing your computer's audio by clicking the red Stop Share
|
|
|
button at the top of your Zoom window.
|
|
|
|
|
|
## Live Translate
|
|
|
|
|
|
Step 1
|
|
|
While scheduling the event
|
|
|
simply scroll down to “Interpretation” and check the box to “Enable language interpretation”
|
|
|
|
|
|
Add your interpreters’ emails and select their language pair
|
|
|
|
|
|
Interpreters will receive a unique invitation link. When they join
|
|
|
their meeting or webinar, they will receive a prompt to help them set
|
|
|
up as the interpreter for their language
|
|
|
|
|
|
Step 2
|
|
|
Once your meeting has started,
|
|
|
Click Interpretation in the meeting controls.
|
|
|
|
|
|
You can add or remove interpreters from this menu if necessary.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Click Start to begin the interpretation sessions.

|
After the host clicks Start, the interpreters will receive a
|
|
|
message they have been assigned a language.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Interpreters and attendees can now click Interpretation in the
|
|
|
meeting controls and select a language channel.
|
|
|
|
|
|
An interpreter in the channel will hear the original meeting audio
|
|
|
which they can translate. Interpreters only have access to the
|
|
|
language channel they have been assigned to.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Participants in a language channel will hear the translated audio and also the original
|
|
|
audio at a lower volume.
|
|
|
|
|
|
To end the interpretation session(s), the host must click
|
|
|
Interpretation in the meeting controls.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Once the Language Interpretation window opens, the host can click
|
|
|
End to stop the sessions.
|
|
|
|
|
|
## recording
|
|
|
|
|
|
- Start your instant or scheduled meeting as the host.
|
|
|
- Click the **Record** button.
|
|
|
- Select Record to the Cloud to begin recording.
|
|
|
*Note*: If you are muted, a Recording Alert pop-up window will appear indicating You are muted.
|
|
|
To stop recording, click Pause / Stop Recording or End Meeting.
|
|
|
*Note*: Once the meeting has ended, the recording must be processed before viewing. Zoom will send an email to the host's email address when the process is completed. There will be two links in the email, the first will be for the host, only to manage the recording. The second link will be for the participants.
